Critically appraise a variety of management and leadership theories, their application, and appropriateness in the context of a clinical environment; B. Consider the impact of organisational structures and processes on managing staff in a clinical environment; C. Recommend contemporary and validated strategies appropriate to managing self, individuals, teams, complex staffing issues and financial resources in a clinical environment; D. Create a variety of ways in which complex issues can be effectively communicated for a variety of target audiences. This subject also contributes specifically to the following graduate attributes: Appraise local, national and international networks to enhance translation of latest evidence into practice. (1.2) Influence leadership and advocacy, within scope of practice, for person centred care. (2.1) Investigate and critically reflect upon the health professional role as it relates to social justice and global citizenship.(3.1) Justify creative strategies and techniques to communicate appropriately in challenging, complex, and diverse situations. (4.1) Investigate innovative techniques to empower, facilitate and support healthy behaviours.
