Feminism

Please go to this link and watch these vedeo https://youtu.be/fcapO8EsKM8 https://youtu.be/3pdbnzFUsXI https://youtu.be/3YA13GNT8Mc After watching the three video clips, reading about the “Who Needs Feminism?” project and the National Organization of Men Against Sexism (NOMAS), taking the survey, and reading your classmates posts in the discussion forum, would you say that you are a feminist? In a minimum of 250 words, state why you think you are or are not a feminist. Also add if your perception of this has changed after learning things in this module. Be specific by including references to things in the module. For example, you might point out that you were frustrated by what one of the speakers said in one of the videos, or you might say that one of NOMAS’s tenets got you to think about things in a different way. When I grade your essay I will be looking for evidence that you engaged with the materials in the module. Your grade WILL NOT be affected by whether you say you are or are not a feminist. What I am looking for is your ability to think about different perspectives around the same topic. When using quotes paraphrases from any of the readings, be sure to include a citation. You are NOT permitted to use any sources outside of this module. This means that you cannot do a Google search or use Wikipedia. All of the materials you need to complete this assignment are in the module. Any evidence of using materials outside of the module (like doing a Google search or using Wikipedia) will result in a failing grade for this assignment. As with all essays, you should organize your response into paragraphs, make sure you follow capitalization rules, and spell check the document. I recommend writing your essay in a word processing program like MS Word. This allows you to perform a spelling/grammar check and a word count. You can also write the essay directly into the text box, but make sure you check your spelling before you submit it. You can view the grading rubric that I will use to score your essay below. You can also review the “Things to Keep in Mind When You Write Your Essays” document for tips and information about citations.
