Use the ATLA Research in Ministry database available through the South Online Library to locate five DMIN projects completed at other schools and review the abstracts. In your paper, provide the title, author, school, and the year completed. Be sure to use proper (Turabian, 8th ed.) bibliographical references. In about 100 words for each project, describe the project’s focus and explain why you think it would be considered a dissertation or a ministry project according to the DMIN final Project Handbook.
Be sure to find at least two dissertations that fit our research dissertation definition and at least two others that fit our ministry project definition and give your reasons why you think they belong there.

Secondly, it utilizes research in a more limited and focused way that addresses the scope of the project, yet which reflects a commitment to scholarly investigation and academic standards of analysis and evaluation. Third, the Ministry Project yields not just a manuscript but contributes a new or revised approach to ministry in a specific setting.

1. Get on the library homepage by going to your student portal and scrolling down until you find library resources on the right hand side.
2. Go to databases and journals, and find the database “dissertation and thesis”
3. Search for ministry in this database. Not all of the articles will be from DMIN students, but many will be. Check other schools as well and follow the instructions I am sending you.
