MA TOURISM MANAGEMENT MODULE: TOURISM CONCEPTS INTRODUCTION: This module assesses the nature and patterns of demand for tourism and the influencing factors. It examines the role and interdependence of the industry components, the relationship between the public, private and voluntary sectors and destination characteristics. It also analyses the broader implications of sustainable tourism development by investigating economic, social-cultural and environmental impacts.
