Introduction and Purpose of Assignment
One aspect that is constant throughout all organizations is change. Change is typically painful, as it requires moving away from the known and the comfortable. However, there are many reasons that organizations, and the people within them, need to change in order to survive. Advanced change theory introduces a set of principles to aid in creating adaptive change.


Objectives

 Examine the principles of advanced change theory and the possible integration of Christian worldview perspectives. (1.4)

Theory and Context

As individuals and organizations, change is often difficult. Robert Quinn states that change starts within the individual and then moves outward. Quinns Advanced Change Theory provides a number of principles that will assist in transforming an organization.

Instructions

1. In a 2-3 page paper, consider the subject of transforming an organization starting with you.
a. Provide a short analysis of the principles of the advanced change theory.
i. Within the analysis give a recommendation of how to address each of these principles.
ii. Conclude with what might be added or taken from this process to make it more applicable to either your current organizational setting or one you know well.
iii. Consider the way advance change theory and a Christian worldview might work together.
2. This is a research paper and not a personal reflection paper. Avoid the use of first person pronouns.
3. Provide at least three scholarly sources.
4. Use the Paper Writing rubric provided below to ensure you have met all of the criteria for this assignment.
5. Submit your paper to your facilitator as an attachment in the dropbox titled Wk1 Advanced Change Theory Paper by the end of the week.
